Red

Fuka still wonders, sometimes, what Scarlet would look like in a woman’s clothes. She doesn’t think she can bring it up – she’s not sure Scarlet’s ever forgiven her initial mistake – but it’s something she thinks about. Shopping for fabric, she thinks how it might suit him instead of her. She looks at reds she’d never wear, but she likes the thought of him wearing them. Not for anyone else to see, of course – only Fuka.

She buys the reds. And she knows that one of these days, she won’t be able to help herself: she’s going to make them up.
