Moonjo x Jongwoo, 269 words.

Moonjo likes watching Jongwoo sleep. He likes it best when his sleep is troubled. Moonjo can stand there with bated breath, watching Jongwoo’s every twitch, anticipating the moment when he will wake up and catches him. It hasn’t happened yet. Moonjo’s not sure what he’ll do when it does – if he’ll reach his hands down to encircle Jongwoo’s neck and free him from the life that he hates. If he’ll smile and put a finger on his lips. If Jongwoo will ignore the warning and kick up a fuss. Shh, babe, you don’t want to wake the others.

He watches, in that state of anticipation. Hard, sometimes, not to reach out and break the stalemate himself. The hand on Jongwoo’s neck. The finger on his lips. Moonjo swinging his body on top of him. Holding him down.

How much of a fuss would Jongwoo kick up? How much would Moonjo have to scare him to make him obedient?

He’s so frightened already. And so angry about it.

Perhaps the hand Moonjo reaches out should be a comforting one. Smooth away his fears.

But Moonjo, if he started, couldn’t stop there. Because he doesn’t want Jongwoo to rest easy. He wants him to wake up.

He wants to drive him insane.

He wants the moment of fear, and rage, and for Jongwoo to be helpless against him.

Moonjo watches, and he pictures that moment. He doesn’t push it. He wants Jongwoo to open his eyes himself. To come to Moonjo himself.

And Moonjo can be patient.

He knows when Jongwoo wakes up that it will have been worth the wait.
